About Us
Uber Education & Charitable society was formed in 2005 with a objective to create an world of underprivileged citizens who will be educated, fit with healthy habits and will contribute to the world by keeping the environment clean & green.
In the last 5 years, we have contributed to healthcare by starting the cheapest MRI and CT scan centre in Mumbai which works on No profit basis. We have also provided world class equipments for various diagnostic tests which are done on no profit basis.
Our efforts to kill heart disease prompted us to promote cycling in India. We all know that Heart disease is the biggest killer of all times and an average of 1940 people die every hour as we speak out of heart disease. This Global epidemic is heavily supported by its two pre disposers; Obesity & Diabetes.
It is interesting that we all talk about deaths in the world happening due to terrorism; but no one is out there marching to control this deadly killer. Our sedentary lifestyle and eating habits with junk food and stress are only supporting the penetration of this deadly epidemic.
Our sedentary lifestyles and plush cars again contribute to CO2 emissions in the surroundings and there contributing to pollution and further addition to diseased environment.
It only with this thought that we thought of promoting cycling, which not only is the best cardiovascular exercise for heart disease; but also helps in keep our environment clean and green.
It is with this cause that we wish to promote our slogan of ‘Burn FAT and not FUEL!!’
